Thirteen drinking water pipe projects in Paris

Between March and August of this year, several Spac’s employees were operating in Paris’ 15th arrondissement to replace two 600-meter sections of drinking water pipeline networks. The intervention included a three-week asbestos removal phase, a challenging operation given the profusion and complexity of the water supply networks. In order to minimize the impact of these thirteen network interventions, in terms of their conduct and interruption to supplies, significant preparatory work was carried out beforehand. Since water could only be cut off for a maximum of 4 hours during the day, teams also worked at night in order to keep to the schedule.
